Small group learning sessions
Does your child need a boost in their literacy skills? Sign up for my mini bootcamps. Lessons can focus on writing, comprehension, word reading & spelling, book chats, organizational skills, study skills, or many other topics. If you have a group of 5 or more interested students, I can customize a group for you.

Mitsis Literacy Connections offers both formal and informal literacy-based assessments to identify strengths, challenges and set goals. Testing can be used to drive instruction or determine if intervention is needed.

Tutoring
In person or virtual
Tutoring sessions are engaging, individualized, and specifically customized one on one lessons using an Orton Gillingham approach. Instruction is explicit, multisensory, and sequential. The OG approach is a diagnostic and prescriptive way of teaching, as new skills are built, while past concepts are practiced.
